Numerical Modeling of Hydrodynamic Performance on Porous Slope Type Floating Breakwater

A breakwater is a coastal building that aims to break up or withstand wave energy enters the beach so characteristics of incoming waves are by calculations and can reduce abrasion on shoreline. Designing floating very complicated because it depends many aspects. These fundamental aspects depend each other, if one these changes, integrity structure will also change. One magnitude transmission reflection coefficients generated breakwater. This research study hydrodynamic performance due variations in slope porosity reducing reflecting with computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
